Discounts are available for performances from Monday to Thursday (excluding premieres). For performances on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, all tickets are sold at the standard ticket price. Discounts are not available on children’s tickets, foyer performances, stand-up clubs or certain guest performances.
Children’s tickets are also available at weekends for family theatre performances. Personal assistant tickets are available for all performances.

A personal assistant ticket is free of charge for anyone who requires an assistant (bookings through the theatre’s own box office).
Tickets for theatre professionals
Tickets for theatre professionals can be purchased and reserved for same-day performances through the theatre’s own box office upon presentation of a valid theatre professional card. Tickets cost 15 €/ticket for plays and 25 €/ticket for musicals. Max. 2 tickets/performance. The discount is available every day of the week, subject to availability.

Delivery options
Purchased tickets are non-refundable. Exchanges for another performance date are subject to a fee of 10 €/ticket (5 €/ticket for family theatre performances). Exchange requests must be made by phone to the theatre’s own box office at 09 39 40 22 no later than the day before the performance.
Cash, invoice, debit card, Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and Diners Club credit cards, as well as Helsinki City Theatre and Lippupiste gift cards.
Cultural benefits:
You can use your cultural benefit to purchase a ticket for yourself by visiting the Helsinki City Theatre box office. Cultural benefits cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

You can purchase a gift voucher conveniently from the lippu.fi online shop or by visiting our ticket shop. All our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, and you can choose the value yourself.
1) Online gift voucher: buy online – use online!
You can choose from several images for your online gift voucher. The gift voucher is purchased from the online shop, printed at home and can only be used as payment in the lippu.fi online shop. A lippu.fi booking fee of 1,5 € + 0,65% of the order value will be added at checkout.
2) Gift voucher valid at sales outlets (Helsinki City Theatre’s own ticket shop and lippu.fi sales outlets)
This is the traditional gift voucher that looks like a theatre ticket. It can be used to purchase tickets for our performances at the Helsinki City Theatre ticket shop (Ensi linja 2) and at lippu.fi sales outlets.

Buy from lippu.fi sales outlets throughout Finland
You can also purchase a Helsinki City Theatre gift voucher from any lippu.fi sales outlet across the country. A lippu.fi booking fee of 3 € will be added to your purchase.
Buy online – have the gift voucher delivered to your home
If there is no sales outlet nearby and you would like to purchase a traditional gift voucher that can be used at sales outlets and the theatre’s ticket shop, you can also buy one from the online shop. You can choose a value from the available price categories between 5-500 €. In addition to the value of the gift voucher, a lippu.fi booking fee of 1,5 € + 0,65% of the order value will be added to the total. The gift voucher will be delivered to your home by post and cannot be printed at home. The postage fee is 10 €.
Helsinki City Theatre’s official sales channels are its own box offices at Ensi linja 2 and in the theatre foyers, as well as the lippu.fi online shop and sales outlets. We do not recommend buying tickets through any other channels. This will help you avoid potential scams and overpriced tickets.
