Studio Pasila is an urban stage that is used to seeing comedy and stand-up, but also new drama plays and musical theatre. Studio Pasila is easy to reach by train or tram.
Studio Pasila has a 328-seat auditorium and a foyer with restaurant services. Foyer sometimes turns into a theatre restaurant, where stand-up comedy is performed, for example.
Studio Pasila has been the stage of the Helsinki City Theatre since August 2001, when the Helsinki City Board made a decision a year earlier to merge Theatre Pieni Suomi into the Helsinki City Theatre.
Studio Pasila is located in East Pasila and it was designed by architect Pentti Piha. Previously, these premises have housed Teatteri Pieni Suomi and its predecessor Intimiteatteri.
